For leaders who suspect they are the bottleneck

Executive Coaching that starts with uncomfortable truth

Most coaching tells you what you want to hear. Ours surfaces the patterns you have been avoiding — then builds a strategy around what you find.

Three patterns that quietly erode executive effectiveness

These are not weaknesses you will find on a 360 review. They are structural habits that compound over years and cost organisations millions in missed opportunity.

Consensus addiction

You have built a culture where everyone agrees with you — not because your ideas are flawless, but because disagreement has become too expensive. Decisions feel smooth on the surface while strategic drift accelerates underneath. The result is a leadership team that mirrors your assumptions rather than challenging them, leaving critical blind spots unaddressed until they become crises.

The competence trap

You were promoted for being the smartest person in the room. Now the room needs you to stop solving and start enabling. The skills that made you exceptional as a director are actively undermining your effectiveness as a senior leader. Every time you step in to fix a problem, you prevent your team from developing the capability to handle complexity without you.

Strategic loneliness

There is nobody in your organisation you can think out loud with. Your board wants certainty. Your team wants direction. Your peers want alliance. The absence of a genuine thinking partner means your strategic assumptions go untested for months or even years, compounding into decisions that feel right but lack the rigour of external challenge.

A five-phase engagement designed for depth, not comfort

Each engagement is bespoke, but the architecture follows a tested sequence that creates lasting behavioural and strategic change.

1

Diagnostic conversation

A 90-minute confidential session where we map your current strategic landscape, identify the recurring friction points, and determine whether this engagement is the right fit. There is no obligation and no sales pressure — only honest assessment of whether coaching will move the needle for your specific situation.

2

Shadow analysis

We gather data from your calendar, decision logs, and key stakeholder perspectives to build a picture of how you actually spend your attention — not how you think you spend it. This phase often reveals a 40-60% gap between stated priorities and actual behaviour, which becomes the foundation for meaningful change.

3

Pattern disruption

Fortnightly deep-work sessions over three months where we systematically dismantle the habits that are no longer serving you. We design experiments — small, reversible changes to how you lead meetings, delegate decisions, and allocate your strategic thinking time — and measure the organisational response in real time.

4

Strategic integration

New behaviours are woven into your existing leadership rhythm. We co-create frameworks for decision-making, stakeholder communication, and team development that reflect your evolved approach. This is where the intellectual understanding becomes embodied practice that persists under pressure.

5

Autonomous momentum

The final phase is designed to make the coach unnecessary. We build your internal capacity for self-correction, establish accountability structures within your existing relationships, and create a personal operating system that continues to evolve long after our engagement concludes.

Coaching should be a strategic intervention, not a wellness perk

Too many executive coaching engagements become comfortable weekly check-ins that produce insight without change. We take a fundamentally different approach: every session is designed to create a specific shift in how you think, decide, or lead — with measurable evidence that the shift has occurred.

Our methodology draws from systems thinking, cognitive behavioural frameworks, and two decades of observing what actually separates effective senior leaders from those who merely occupy senior roles. The work is rigorous, occasionally confronting, and consistently transformative for those willing to engage with genuine honesty.

We do not work with every leader who approaches us. If your primary goal is validation or stress management, we will recommend excellent practitioners who specialise in those areas. Our work is for leaders who suspect they are capable of significantly more — and want to find out what is standing in the way.

Straight answers to reasonable scepticism

Most coaching is insight-oriented: you learn something about yourself and hope it translates into different behaviour. Our approach is intervention-oriented. We design specific behavioural experiments, measure their impact on your team and organisation, and iterate based on real data. The diagnostic conversation will make this distinction concrete for your situation.
Engagements range from £12,000 to £45,000 depending on scope, duration, and whether we include stakeholder interviews in the shadow analysis phase. We do not offer hourly rates because meaningful change requires commitment to a structured process, not ad hoc conversations. The diagnostic conversation is complimentary and carries no obligation.
The standard programme runs six to nine months, with the most intensive work concentrated in months two through four. Some leaders choose to continue with quarterly strategic sessions after the formal engagement concludes, but the goal is always to build your capacity for self-directed development rather than creating dependency on the coaching relationship.
Absolutely, and most engagements are organisation-sponsored. We provide detailed scoping documents and ROI frameworks that make the business case clear. However, confidentiality is non-negotiable: your organisation will receive progress summaries that you approve, but the content of our sessions remains entirely between us.
Yes. While we are based in Northern Ireland, roughly a third of our engagements are with leaders across Europe and North America. The diagnostic conversation and shadow analysis can be conducted remotely without loss of quality. For the pattern disruption phase, we recommend at least two in-person sessions, which we can arrange at a location convenient to you.
